I want to fucking cry and drop off the face of the Earth.

Morbid thoughts driving home at one thirty in the morning. 

Self-mutilation of the mind

And muddled
and dazed
and lacking
and most of the time I am okay
and absorbed in the moment
but I still seem to lose it 
and feel empty

And sometimes I wish

I am walking forward
but my head is looking behind
so in the end all I'm doing
is walking forward
backwards
blind

My mind is so dangerous while I'm driving on the highway in the rain at night.

I'm getting there.

I feel the chill creeping into my bones at night. Summer is ending and fall is surely and steadily on its way. I'm nervous and anxious but undeniably excited. I feel like after this summer, there's nothing I can't take on. Whew. It's getting cold now. But it's a coldness I undeniably like.

Where I really don't know what to do with myself anymore.

even when I feel I'm not because I care too much to let something or someone important to me go.

But maybe it's because deep down, I know -- with the tiniest bit -- that I'm always wrong, too.

last night and was completely engrossed by the music playing on shuffle on my iPod. The opening guitar riff of Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap started playing and the biggest smile came on my face. Like shit. This is my song and this is what I need right now.
