Everyday without fail I come home an read LJ. I have not posted for over 6 months. Does that make me very sad an unpopular or does it suggest my life is to o busy and entertaining for me to make posts. Home sweet home
Got back from Barbados yesterday. Much fun was had, in roughly this order:
Get to Barbados on Saturday 30th June having had the smoothest and easiest flight ever. Get a little miffed that we have no Thomson transfers, but get a cab and spend the rest of the day wandering and saying hello to old friends.

Clothes clothes clothes...
I am the master of thinking ahead. We go on holiday in 12 days. I have already laid out all the things I want to take. And had 'the big shoe think'. I'm now down to 10 pairs of shoes which should be not too excessive for 2 weeks. The clothing was pretty easy actually. Ugh. Fatness.
Erm. Why did nobody tell me how BLOODY FUCKING HUGE I was a year ago? I was looking through some vids to upload to Facebook and jeeez gads I was frightening in the videos taken on my Birthday last year. I know I was almost 2 stone heavier, but my god I was a whale. The pirate party was a huge success, and enjoyed by all! As usual I seem to have avoided all nice photographs of me in my bloody expensive dress, but the memories will no doubt live on, if not out-shadowed by Ellie's 18 inch waist and Colin's 2 hours of unconsciousness ( Read more... ) -

Well, after 3 full days of cleaning and 2 months of ideas and preparations I think we're finally ready for the party tomorrow. All we need to do is go to the supermarket tomorrow to get top-ups of booze, nibbles and many many bags of ice to fill our fantastic antique trunk. POTC 3 rules! I was a little worried that it wouldn't be that great, and what had been shown in the trailers didn't excite me too much. As it turns out they have been very careful to keep the plot out of the trailers and reviews so it's all fresh and captivating.
