Tomorrow I turn 33.

On Saturday there shall be a party in honour of this clearly momentous occasion, at textivore's house, from noon until 8 or 9 pm for sure, possibly later

Happy advance birthday wishes!

(I don't know if I can make it up that weekend, I just wanted to make sure I did this because otherwise I tend to forget and look like a jackass)

I shall be there, possibly as early as noon, and probably with both boys in tow. I had wanted to go to the dog show in Dixon with Julie, but I instead have to take Michael to his school to get a sports physical. Since Willie's ring time is 10:30 a.m., and the physicals begin at 10 a.m., it will not work to do both. However, I still might go to the dog show if for some twist of fate Willie manages to take Best of Breed and Julie goes on to show him in group that day.

I will bring Snickerdooles, some beverages, both adult and non, and a selection of games. If there is anything I have that you particularly want me to bring, please let me know. These are the games I am thinking of bringing:

Tigris and Euphrates
Vegas Showdown
On the Underground
Time's Up

I'll probably also throw some filler games in. I'm going to try to keep it to two tubs (I thought about trying to keep it to one, but I think I already exceeded that with what I have listed).

I will still be coming to the party, but I might be a little or a lot late, depending on how the dog show goes. It turns out that the sports physicals are being done 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., which means I can get Michael in for an early physical and make it to the dog show to see Julie and Willie in the show ring at 10:30 a.m.

I will be coming to your party from Dixon, time depending on whether Willie take Best of Breed. It's unlikely, but if he does, I will stay at the dog show to watch the group competition.

Since whalejudge is bringing his copy of Race for the Galaxy, I will not be bringing mine.
