A mind-reader and a jerk rolled into one, which is never a good combination. Billy has only spoken to him a few times, but those times were enough for him to hate Enjin. He's not sure how much he's gathered on his life, but he's good at hitting Billy's insecurities, at the very least.
Also-Billy really did not appreciate having a knife pointed at him.

One of the first people Billy met in Vatheon, and, well, the first impression wasn't too great for either side. To Lassiter, Billy was suspicious, and to Billy, Lassiter was an idiot. Fortunately for Billy (and less fortunately for Lassiter), the detective was a fun idiot-in that he was incredibly easy to tease.
It's a pity that he's gone now. He was a good source of entertainment.
