I have religiously been listening to Astronomy Cast...which is completely awesome...because who doesn't like a weekly fact based journey through the cosmos?

I filled the lawn mower with gas.  I pushed the little button thingy on the side.  I pulled the cord thing and MOWED THE LAWN!  I have never mowed a lawn before and I think I did a pretty good job.  And I mowed far enough around the bunny hole in the middle of the yard...so the little bit of tall grass is hardly noticeable!!!  YAY!

We are discussing rainbows and colors at school this week and I decided to do the rainbow flower experiment (where you put a white flower's stem in water with food coloring and the flower changes color).  After we identified the colors and put the flowers in the cups, I asked the kids what they thought would happen...the response was as follows:

I am working on wedding invitations with my future mother in law!  It is really great that she drove down to help me because I am starting to freak out just a little bit!  Where did the last year and a half of our engagement go?!  And I am really worried that I will forget to send someone an invitation and they will be offended.  If you don't get ( Read more... )

After two months of being sad and computer-less...I am once again connected to the world through a series of small tubes.  I love the internet.  Now excuse me while I catch up on two months of secret fan-fiction reading!

Tonight is my last night of CDA class.  I am kind of sad because my Monday nights will no longer be occupied, but I can console myself with the fact I have four more months to finish my paperwork before I am actually done!

Also...sometimes people are crazy and it scares me a little bit.  Thanks!
