Well, I am off again tonight to not so warm and sunny Idaho. This will make 3 trips in about 3 weeks. It feels insane to me :S. Election
OMG!!! I totally cried. As I was driving home from karate I hear them singing in Chicago waiting for Obama to arrive and give his speech and I just started crying. I'm not even sure where to start....my mother married (for the 2nd time) the stupidest man alive! He starts drinking at 3am...gets his buzz..then sleeps for a bit and starts again as soon as he wakes up. Once upon a time, about 24 years ago, he was an ok guy. This term cannot end fast enough. I really need a break from homework and class. I'm planning on taking a science class this summer to get it over with, but now I'm second guessing that idea. I just want to kayak, golf and spend time with friends this summer. Oh what to do, what to do. -

As I sit here reading about a post-carbon world, peak-oil discovery and production and the depletion of other natural resources such as top soil & clean water. We are facing an ecological dilemma. How is it that someone can work all their lives and then end up with no way to pay for care when they are 80+? What is wrong with our world?
