It's been a less-than-spectacular week thus far. While I had a considerably productive weekend, having cleaned the house and washed the floors and the entire kitchen (which took 5 hours in itself!) I'm happy. I really am happy with my life. It's amazing to feel this way, to wake up in the morning and smile and go through my day just feeling GOOD all the time. Apparently, WPI alumni can go back WPI for a graduate degree and only pay for 50% of it.

Coming back to work after 11 days off is certainly a little disorienting. Of course, my 11 days off weren't really restful, considering that I painted Annette's bathroom in three coats as well as our living room in 3 coats, plus cleaned and cooked for Christmas and did any number of other necessary and exhausting chores. I'm sure it would cost gazillions, but I would love, love, LOVE to do something like this in my backyard, since the tiny wooden deck is slowly rotting into oblivion and shall need replacing once we get some money together. If course, I would soften up the edges a bit and put in tons of potted plants and such, but this would be lovely.
