when and where is the feis? how much is it to get in as well? ive got a plan swimming around in my lil ole head 1...i want more spike curlers 2...i wanna bring tim and the kids to one 3...itd be nice to see irish step again, may get me to get my arse back into it again *lesigh*
Its at the Pointe South Mountain, which is at I-10 and Baseline... Across the freeway and baseline diagonally from AZ Mills.
It costs me $15 dollars in a family entrance fee for the whole world to get in, so show up, its free for you. (they do this these days because they dont want to put volunteers monitoring the doors, so they just charge a basic fee to all the dancers (10 or 15 $ per family) and consider everyone who wants to show up "pre-paid".
Its this sunday, morning, but the adults are saturday night. Of course the thing goes on all day (and by all day, I mean all day!) but I'm dancing bright and early in the morning.
Good luck finding the spike curlers, not many people carry them any more. I can however hook you up with a variety of artificial hair attachments in various curly styles and colors. You might try 4irishdancers.net, or theredox.com to order them online if no one has them at the feis.
If you want reccomendations on local schools, ask me... :-)
That is horrible!!!! I hope whoever it is wakes up with a hangover from hell that just won't go away no matter what they do and that pecious 9 yr oldmaking a bunch of noise cause they want to play.

It shouldnt be hard to find... If you get on the 60, take that to the I-10 east exit, as you are exiting, head right and get off at Baseline, and turn right. Then make a left at Pointe Parkway (heading straight for the big fountain). Make a right at the roundabout (around the fountain exit to your right) and the hotel will end up on your left. Theres a couple of stop signs, and you'll see a big white tent in the parking lot. It looks like thats where we'll be. I'm on stage C, though the whole thing will all be in one room.
