New job...
After a barrage of interviews, I have chosen a new teaching position! I got a lot of very positive feedback after each interview and was even told that I had all the qualifications anyone could hope for. I'm very thankful for all the excellent letters of recommendation from my supervisors and colleagues at The ACES and at Rio Salado.

News...
I'm officially a teacher! The high school English teacher from last year isn't coming back, and since I'll be certified in January (and am currently substitute certified and done with all but my last few classes), I was offered the job. Everyone at work is behind me and very supportive! I was recommended for the position by the lead high school ( Read more... ) -
Work development...
There's a new teacher in my classroom. She seems to want to work as a teaching team with me, brainstorm new and innovative teaching techniques, and let me co-teach when I'm ready. She's got experience with troubled folks and seems very qualified. Finally, I think the classroom team (the new teacher, the behavioral coach, and me) has limitless ( Read more... ) -

This is not going to be one of those, "I was sad because my feet hurt until I saw a man with no feet" posts. This is really more of a get-your-schitt-together message.
