So two years ago I put together some SUBTEXT POSTS. However I lost the notebook in August 2007. Well I found it a couple of weeks ago and I've started typing up my notes again. So here we are, carrying on from where I left off with 'The Promise'.

very spouse-like, the way Welsh does an end-run around Ray & asks Fraser to distract him (Ray) when he (Ray) is being very male & beligerant. Doesn't Ray come up w/ a choice name or two for Thatcher in this ep as well? Rather catty.

It is isn't it? He obviously knows how Fraser and Ray's relationship works (ie like an old married couple).

Hee does. He's quite saracastic with her and he clearly doesn't like her in his Benny territory ;-)
