Jin is a singer and he desperately needs a dancer for his upcoming show. Kame is a dancer and he has some trouble with bad guys. The two meet and hate each other but they have no other choice so they make a deal.

If you himiliate me in public, I won't

go easy on you either

He was clearing his throat continuously to hide his nervousness.

When he plucked up his courage, he looked up into the brown orbs which were gazing at him curiously.

He opened his mouth hesitantly…

“Okay, I want to tell you something, so please listen to me now because it’s not easy…”

He let out an embarrassed laughter as he saw the shiny brown eyes widening.

“…I’ve been thinking a lot lately…

…I think I don’t seem to stop thinking about you…”,

He brushed his locks from his eyes and sighed.

“I think I like you…

no, that’s not right…

I think I fell in love with you.”

There was a long silence and he held his breath waiting for the answer.

He tensed when he felt arms wrapping around his neck and his head was bent down slowly.

He touched the red soft lips with his own then deepened the kiss.

His arms circled around the slim waist and pulled the slender body closer.

When the soft lips parted he pushed his tongue gently into the hot and sweet cavern and tried to taste every little spot of it.

Then he pulled away to take a deep breath and smiled.

“I want you to marry me…

…Maria Margarita Carmensita!!!”

“What the hell are you watching so early in the morning???”, Koki shrieked as he placed a mug on the table.

Jin was staring down at the carpet, so deep in thought that neither the very exciting soap opera nor the strong scent of coffee seemed to drag him out of his daze. But that neither his friend’s voice could to that, Koki was not willing to accept. So he poked Jin on the shoulder and waved his hand in front of the singer’s eyes.

“Jin! Jiiiiin! Are you alive at all?”, he asked and frowned. “Jin, I don’t know what you’re daydreaming about but you better wake up because we have to leave in ten minutes.”

It was the morning of the great day and Koki, Jin and Kame decided to meet up at the concert hall to check if everything was ready for the big event. Koki dropped by earlier to pick up the costumes he had left at Jin’s house the day before.

The singer sighed and lay down on the sofa. “I don’t get it at all. Pi can’t even know him…”

Koki grabbed the remote control and swithed off the television in order to preserve his sanity and defend his senses from the damage caused by another sappy scene between Maria Margarita Carmensita and his handsome lover.

“What has Yamapi done this time?”, he asked with a heavy sigh.

Jin looked up at Koki as if he had recognized him in that moment. “Huh??”

Koki examined the man’s clueless face for a second then sat on the sofa next to him. “Jin, you’re talking to yourself, watching soap operas and you’re depressed on the day of your concert. Which one of these has ever happened to you so far? I’m worried about you…”

Jin shrugged his shoulders. “I’m just thinking.”

“And this either has never occurred.” Koki teased the man, but he was completely ignored, unusually.

“Koki, what would you do if you found out that someone who is important to you is hiding something from you?”, Jin asked looking at his friend firmly. The question was not rethorical, he really wanted to know what to do about Yamapi and his suspicious connection to Kame, if there was any.

“It depends on what that thing is that this certain someone is hiding.”, Koki replied.

“Well, I think it’s something which is not…. right…”, Jin said carefully.

Koki sighed. “Jin, if you’re speaking in riddles I can’t help you.”

Jin sat up and rubbed his hands to his thighs. “Ok, so I think this someone got back to his bad habits, which is fighting, actually, and this time he beat up someone who I know by chance.” he said slowly. He wondered if Koki knew what he was talking about, but the man didn’t show any sign of it, just frowned.

“And that other someone who got beaten up… what is him to you?”

Jin was caught off guard by the question so he hesitated for a moment “I… I think… he is… he is just someone I know…”, he blurted out finally.

“I see… then why don’t you just ask him if he knows who beat him up?”

“No, no no!”, Jin said vehemently. “No way, he wouldn’t tell me anything, anyway.”

“So he is also hiding something…. Jin, what the hell did you get yourself into?”, Koki asked worriedly.

“Me? Nothing at all! So will you answer my question? I thought you wanna help me!”, the singer whined and he bent his head backwards to rest it on a huge pillow.

“Ok, I think I would find someone who could know about what really happened. If your friend, or whoever he is, doesn’t want to talk about it, then try to find someone who knows the person who got beaten up.”

Jin’s thoughts started to whirl inside his head. Someone who knows Kame? But he didn’t know about any of the boy’s friends. Except… That guy who was with him at the pub. What was his name? Jin tried hard to recall Kame’s loud babbling on that fateful evening.

”I said that I want to quit then he grabbed my arm and tried to punch me. Can you imagine that, Ueda?”

Ueda. That’s it! But how can he find him? Then a small smirk appeared on Jin’s handsome face and he clapped his hands with satisfaction.

“Koki, thank you!!!”, he shouted and hugged his friend so forcefully that the other couldn’t breathe properly.

“Hey… uhh… what have I done to deserve such a treatment?”, Koki asked annoyed but he smiled at his friend’s weird behaviour.

“You answered my question! Now, let’s go! Kamenashi’s waiting and I don’t wanna listen to his whining all day.” Jin said and started to pull Koki with him out of the door making the man stumble over the carpet and almost fall on his face. Koki sighed and almost regretted having barged into Jin’s problems instead of worrying about something less bothersome, such as Maria Margarita Carmensita’s heartbreaking love story.

ӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿ

“What’s this?”, Kame asked impatiently while he was tugging up his black leather pants on his legs in the dressing room.

“What does it look like? Tickets, of course.” Jin answered and tried his best not to sound too excited.

“What for?” Kame snapped at the singer and he was already fastening his belt around his waist.

“What for??? Two VIP tickets for tonight. I want you to bring someone to see the concert, let’s say, your girlfriend.”

Kame stilled and looked up. “Gi…girlfriend?”

“Yeah.” came the indifferent reply.

“I don’t have a girlfriend.” Kame mumbled embarrassedly and lowered his head to hide his flushed face. He missed Jin’s smirking face as he was thinking hard how to distract the man’s attention from the sensitive topic. Then he suddenly stepped back and turned around on his heels. “So how do I look?”, he asked with a huge grin and the expression on the singer’s face told everything.

Jin ran his eyes up and down on the boy’s body and he immediately forgot about being so happy about Kame not having a girlfriend (which was, of course, only because it went perfectly according to his plan). Jin found it very difficult to swallow as he was looking at Kame’s very very very tight leather pants and dark green shirt which the boy left unbuttoned down to his stomach. His chest was exposed and Jin could only stare at the milky skin wondering how it would feel to touch it. Then he snapped out of his daze and snorted.

“God, don’t tell me you wanna dance in those pants. They’re so thight that you can’t make even a single step in them, not to mention acrobatics.” he said sarcastically.

Kame took a deep breath only to be able to cry out loud. “WHAAAAT?? You’re just jealous because I’m more good-looking than you will be, and it’s a shame for you to go onstage with someone who looks way better than you at your own concert!!! Haha!”

Jin was at a loss for words at first but then felt anger boiling up in him within seconds and stepped closer to Kame. “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, KAMENASHI??? There’s no way you look better than me!!!” he yelled. “God, go and look at yourself in the mirror, you look pathetic!”

It was Kame’s turn to gape and when he finally found the right words to retort, Koki butted in. “Jin, don’t worry. I made the clothes especially for the show, so he can move in them perfectly”, he said and hoped that he managed to calm the two childish men down.

He was right. Jin just rolled his eyes and decided to get back to his previous task. He waved the tickets in front of the younger boy’s eyes and looked at him annoyed. “Whatever. Take the tickets and if you don’t have a girlfriend then bring your friends, ok?”

“Why?” Kame asked confusedly, his eyes narrowed in suspicion. “Why do you want me so badly to invite someone? Anyway, I don’t think I can convince someone to come in the last moment.”

“What about that friend of yours who was with you at the pub? Bring him!”

“Ueda?” Kame asked hesitantly.

Jin smiled in his head. ‘Yes, Ueda!!!’ But he just nodded.

“I guess I can ask him… But why are you so persistent about it?”

The singer shrugged his shoulders. “Because I want to have as many fan as I can!” he laughed arrogantly.

Kame snorted. “Don’t think Ueda will be your fan, you asshole!”

But Jin already turned his back to him and started to change into his costume. “Just ask him if he can come!”

Kame shook his head and sighed then picked up his cellphone to call his best friend.

ӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿ

When Kame glimpsed Jin in his cowboy-like costume, he knew he was wrong. The man looked gorgeous whatever he chose to wear. Damn him!

So Kame tried everything he could not to look at Jin so often because every time he did he felt his legs tremble and he didn’t want to make fun of himself falling to the ground in front of thousands of shrieking fans.

Because the fans were shrieking and the way Jin moved his hips and flashed his seductive smiles every now and then didn’t help them to calm down at all. Kame had to admit that it was the first time he enjoyed performing this much. The sensation was like drug, dazing and addictive.

When Jin went back to the encore, Kame and Koki decided to watch him from backstage. They agreed that Jin would perform his slower songs then, and Kame was curious because he hasn’t heard those songs yet as it had nothing to do with acrobatics and dance.

On the stage Jin began to sing a song called ‘Care’ or something like that, Kame wasn’t sure since the title was in English and in the moment the idol’s voice filled the huge arena, the boy froze. The lyrics was touching but not sappy and as the melody was flowing Kame felt as if his heart was clenched. The facial expression was far from the arrogant and annoying one Jin always wore. His eyelids were half-closed and he frowned a bit as he uttered the words softly. Affection and pain was coming from the lines and it was like a gently whispered confession into the ear.

There was something so heartbreaking in the way Jin was singing that Kame suddenly felt his throat burning. ‘Oh, no I cannot be that weak! I’m like a fangirl enchanted by some nice words and soft melodies. Pull yourself together, Kamenashi!’ he scolded himself as he cleared his throat nervously and started to blink fervently.

Koki looked at him and had no heart to start teasing the boy so he just giggled quietly.

ӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿ

After the concert Jin was tugged into the VIP room where other famous singers, actors and a few fangirls were waiting for him. Everyone wanted to get a little piece of the famous Akanishi Jin. Or more than a little.

Kame was watching the idol surrounded by pretty and very pushy girls. The man was incredibly popular and Kame tried to convince himself that he was jealous because he wanted to be in the place of the singer and treated like that by fangirls and not because he wanted to be in the place of the girls who can share Jin’s attention.

Whichever it was, it made Kame spill the contents of his glass over his pants when a blonde skinny girl started to stroke Jin’s tighs in the heat of their conversation.

“Bakanishi!!! You bastard!!” he mumbled as he tried to dry his clothes with a napkin.

“Kamenashi!”

Kame looked up at the man who has just entered the room. The boy opened his mouth to greet him but he didn’t have the chance.

“YAMAPIIIIII!!!” a shout was heard and they both turned their heads to the Jin’s direction who got away from the fangirls and was on his way towards them.

“Man!! I’m so glad you came! It thought I’d never get rid of those annoying girls!”

“Not that you tried very hard.” Kame mumbled under his breath.

“Huh? What did you say Kamenashi, I can’t hear you.” Jin asked frowning.

“Never mind. Ah… Koki! Koki, come here!” Kame yelled when he glimpsed the man in the crowd. He was really not in the mood to be alone with these two playboys. Koki waved at them and greeted Yamapi cheerfully. They were laughing hard at Koki who was being teased by Yamapi because of his bald head when a voice butted in their conversation.

“It was a nice show, guys, I’m a bit offended, though that noone invited me in person.”

“RYO!!!” four voices shouted at exactly the same time then the boys looked at each other, all of them totally confused. Ryo chuckled at seeing there faces.

“Hey, how do you know Ryo?” Kame yelled at Jin and Koki.

“We know each other since…. since…” Jin tried to recall his first time meeting his friend, but he failed. “Ryo, how many years do we know each other?” he looked up at the chuckling man.

“I don’t know…. fifteen maybe.”

“See? And you? How come you know him?”

“I was working with him when Ueda opened his music store four years ago. It was fun, wasn’t it, Ryo?” Kame smiled.

“It was.” Ryo replied grinning widely.

“And how come you’re here?”, Yamapi asked.

“Oh, I came with Ueda.” Ryo said. Everyone turned to look over the man’s shoulder and they saw a very silent Ueda who had been standing in one spot since he entered with Ryo and apparently he would have done everything to remain unnoticed.

“Tat-chan!” Kame yelled. “So you brought Ryo with you, that’s great!” he said with a huge grin.

“You gave me two tickets, remember?” Ueda mumbled.

“Ah, you’re right.” Kame agreed and he was very amused to see how much his friend felt uncomfortable around Ryo.

Ueda lowered his head. “I have to go now, I’m sorry. The concert was great, really. Thank you for the invitation.”

“Tat-chan, stay a little more. You can’t left me here.” Kame whined. “I wasn’t doing anything all evening than watching that nerd hanging around with stupid girls” he pointed at Jin.

The singer raised an eyebrow and smirked. “So you were watching me. I’m impressed, Kamenashi. I didn’t know you have such a good taste.”

Kame blushed but this time he couldn’t blame it on the alcohol as he was too busy with monitoring Jin’s every move for hours and he forgot to drink even a single drop. “I…. I mean it wasn’t so difficult to notice the shrieking fangirls around you. Everyone was looking at you, you know.” he stuttered nervously and he felt that his cheeks became redder if it was possible at all.

“Don’t deny your feelings, Kamenashi!” Jin said playfully enjoying the situation very much. “You should have said to me earlier. I’m sorry that I made you so jealous.” he laughed.

Kame gaped. “JEALOUS?? I’M NOT JEALOUS!!!!” he yelled and with this he caught almost everyone’s attention in the VIP room. But Kame was so furious that he didn’t notice the curious faces. So he continued shouting and he blurted out the most offensive word he could come up with at the moment. “BAKANISHI!!!!”

Silence fell upon the room. Jin’s eyes widened. “What did you just say?” he whispered in a low voice.

“He said ‘Bakanishi’.” Ryo said deep in thought then he shared a glance with Yamapi and Koki and the three of them burst out laughing.

Jin inhaled deeply and took a step towards Kame who was standing a bit taken aback by his own action “Don’t mess with me, Kamenashi, if you humiliate me in public I won’t go easy on you either.”

Kame snorted. “As if you could do anything right now! You can’t punch me here!!”

“That’s true. But I wouldn’t need it.” Jin said indifferently. “I know many other ways to take revenge on you, I just didn’t want to.”

“Oh, really? And why is that?”

Jin’s lips curved into a smirk. “Because if I had suggested you earlier to look down on your pants, you would have freaked out and ruined the party.”

Kame looked down at his pants and his face flushed immediately. “Shit!” he cursed and stormed out to finally change his pants which he forgot to do after he had soaked it with champagne.

“I… I really should go now.” Ueda said quietly. “Thank you for the tickets. Good night!” he said and practically ran out of the room.

“I… I have to make a phone call. I’ll be right back.” Jin said as he walked after Ueda.

Koki, Ryo and Yamapi looked at each other and they started to giggle. “Jin and Kame are so funny. I don’t know how come I’ve never thought of bringing them together.” Ryo wondered.

ӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿ

“Ueda!”

Ueda stopped and looked back curiously when he heard Jin.

“Yes?”

“Do you have a minute?” the singer asked when he managed to catch up with the man.

“Sure.”

Jin led him into an empty room and closed the door. “I’d like to ask something about Kamenashi.” the other man raised an eyebrow and looked at him curiously. “Hmm… Well, you know that he was beaten up a week ago, right?”

Ueda was surprised by the question but nodded.

“Do you know everything about it? Does it have something to do with the so called ‘job’ he wanted to quit? Do you remember? I heard him talking about it at the pub where we met.”

Ueda shook his head. “I’m sorry but I don’t know exactly what his job is. All I know is that he doesn’t like it. I think it’s dangerous, as well. But wait… aren’t you planning to get him into trouble, are you?” he asked worriedly.

Jin shook his head and it made the other man let out a relieved sigh. “Have you ever met someone whom he works with?”

“Yes, once. I met a guy… wait a minute, what was his name? Nakamaru something, but I’m not sure…”

“Do you know whom he fought with?”

“No, I don’t know. But why do you keep asking?”

“Because I think I know who it was.” Jin said slowly. Ueda blinked a few times.

“Who was it?”

Jin sighed. He didn’t know why but he trusted this man. So he decided to speak honestly. “I think it was Yamapi. My friend, you know.”

Ueda stared at him. “What? No, it can’t be… I mean he is your friend, don’t you trust him?”

Jin shut his eyes. He felt guilty that he suspected his friend, but he couldn’t help it. There were too many coincidences. “I do, but something’s wrong with him. He used to fight a lot earlier. Then I noticed a scratch on his arm and above all he knew about Kamenashi’s injury. And I’m sure I didn’t say anything to him.”

Ueda was at a loss for words. He paled a bit but then shook his head. “This is not an evidence. Maybe you just forgot that you told him about it.”

“I don’t think so… well, thank you, I don’t want to hold you up any longer.” Jin said and opened the door. Then he suddenly turned back to Ueda. “What was the name again, Nakamaru?”

Ueda nodded then left. Jin sneaked into the dressing room and when he saw that Kame was still under the shower, he went to the table which was standing in the middle of the room. Kame’s phone was lying there next to the boy’s champagne-soaked pants. ‘I can’t believe that I’m doing this!’ he thought when he flipped the phone open and started to look for Nakamaru’s number. ‘But really, why am I doing this?’

ӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿ

Later that night Kame was walking alone on the street and was busy with his favourite hobby, that is, cursing Akanishi Jin.

He flapped his head up when he heard noises in front of him. A man was standing beside the wall. He was familiar but Kame couldn’t see him clearly. He took a step forward slowly. ‘Yamapi???’

He was about to greet the man when he noticed that the other wasn’t alone. Yamapi was pressing his body against someone while hugging and kissing the other person fervently. ‘Maybe his girlfriend’ Kame thought and wanted to walk away but when he saw Yamapi pulled back a little he stopped in his tracks. ‘Or boyfriend…’

But when he heard the boy, who was pressed to the wall giggling, his eyes widened and his hands dropped on his sides. His mind went blank and he gaped.

“Tat-chan!!!!”
