I just saw this film last week, and loved it, and recognised the massive slashy bromance potential, and went looking for some fanfiction, and found this story. :)
Really loving what you've written so far, and the characterisations seem spot-on to what I saw of Marcus and Esca on the big screen.
Looking forward to the next installment, thanks for writing this!
Oh, how lovely of you! Thank you for reading it! I'm so happy to hear that you like the characterisations. It means a lot ♥ I'm working on more at the moment!
First of all I really love your characterization of both Marcus and Esca: you've captured their dynamic and ambivalent relationship at this stage perfectly: the way they are both drawn to each other (almost without realizing that it is happening), slowly growing to respect and regard each other as equals, yet they are also confused in their loyalties and unsure about the limits of their power dynamics.
Secondly your prose, and especially your imagery, is absolutely gorgeous. I also love how carefully researched this seems to be.
To sum up: I am loving this to pieces and I can't wait to see what will happen next :)
I am literally breathless with happiness at your comment. This is EXACTLY what I was aiming for, and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate what you've said here. You've just completely made my day. THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart ♥ :D
