One curious thing I've observed is how the members of other species don't mind death. Sure, they will say they don't like to die, but ultimately, they accept it as inevitable and believe that the afterlife is where it's really at.

Um, excuse me, but that's negotiable. If you believe in the afterlife (or in a religion that makes it sound good if you get there after doing as you're told), then sure - but I for one really don't want to die if I can avoid it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one, human, ex-human or otherwise... *looks up at him*
