Well I figured I kinda have to write this one since I got into a new rabbit hole and I am falling in way too deep, never thought that I am exploring something new again.

Hi Aira. I noticed that you liked one of my posts on LJ so I checked your account. I actually wasn't interested in Japanese music, it was the anime that brought me to it. As for LDH, I have One Piece to thank for that. Generations sang one of their opening songs and while I was searching for them, I saw the Rampage's first album. Although GENE is my favourite, I've finally gotten incredibly into the rest of Jr. Exile. Occasionally I listen to JSB but I prefer the solo efforts of the vocalists more than the group songs even though I love the members. I also listen to the Second and the main Exile as well. It was from the music that I graduated to dramas! Although I've started looking at other actors, I mostly watch dramas that have LDH acts in them (POL was silly but I loved it all the same) By the way, my name is Simi and I'm from Nigeria. I am also an occasional anime watcher but I am not aware Gene sang the opening for One Piece 🙈
I am overwhelmed as well with the amount of content LDH has to offer, and tbh I am still a bit confused when it comes to activities of Exile (the main), Second, and JSB since these groups share the common members so I am still on the process of learning about them.

I am also trying to watch the dramas that LDH members are in it, like Alan's current drama. I have watched Keita Machida's dramas too without knowing he's part of Gekidan Exile 😅

I also love reading your reviews regarding Battle of Tokyo. Can't wait too for the full-animated version and hear the album.

Thanks Aira. I'm glad you like my reviews. I can't wait for the animation as well. It's going to be mind-blowing! Tbh, LDH can overwhelm you but it's worth it. Out of curiosity, what other dramas have you watched apart from the two above?

Same here! Can't wait for the full animation! LDH is quite overwhelming to be honest, but it's worth it. And the song opening is 'Hard Knock Days'. What dramas have you watched apart from the ones you mentioned?

You've actually watched a lot more than me. I've only watched all dramas that Ryota, Alan, and Reo have appeared, in including guest appearances (except Rokudenashi Blues); High and Low (which you should totally watch); Prince of Legend; Kyoufu Shinbun, Alice in Borderland(another one you should totally watch). I'm currently watching Wild Heroes which has Takahiro, Sho, Taiki, Sway from Doberman Infinity, Keiji from the second, and one other person from Gekidan Exile whose name just escaped my brain lol

Thank you, but at that time I am not yet aware that the actors are also part of groups under LDH 😅
I am planning to watch Alan, Ryota and Reo's other dramas as well and hopefully I can find the raws and subs for them.

Thank you for the recommendations! For H&L, I started with THE WORST in Netflix and I didn't understood and appreciate it to the fullest since it's part of a series, but I have already finished the dramas (2 seasons of story of SWORD) plus the spin-offs to THE WORST (episode. 0 and 6 From H&L), and I have yet to watch the remaining movies, End of Sky, Red Rain(?), Final Mission, and DTC.

I have already watched Alice in Borderland (that's what I meant in AiB abbreviation) and I am also excited for its season 2.

I enjoy reading your lj about the group you stan. I also start with Janizu, then I found EXILE TRIBE in 2015, when I first watched their HiGH&LOW series >< They are seriously cool in that series and their OST also very good.

I haven't been that active lately on LJ and fangirling in general, since life has gotten busier than usual, but thanks for leaving a comment here ☺️

I find it interesting as well to meet fellow fans who started with Janizu too haha, and while both companies are great in their own unique way, I find myself more immersed with the content LDH has to offer nowadays lol. And yes, H&L series got me dive deeper to get to know more of the LDH talents, oddly enough, I watched H&L: The Worst first before I started watching it in chronological order, now I'm excited it's getting a sequel soon, fujio and the rest of the oya kou boys are back again! 🔥✨

RMPG is my main group as well, and while I would love to get more of the content they has to offer aside from dramas and music, it's hard for international fans unless subscribed in CL. I also wished the groups appear often on tv too in promoting their new music, and also understanding the language since there aren't many fansubbers in the
