Arashi’s style and ideas of global activities (part 3)

In Japan, in the past 2-3 years, we also see many entertainers from various countries entering the market, so how do you feel about it? "For us too, we also feel much more fun being near with the fans, and want the fans to see us in a size that they will be able to see our finger tips as we dance." That's so poetic!
Thank you for translating such an interesting interview, I really enjoyed it ^^

Thanks for sharing your hard work translating this interview - it was a really interesting read. To be honest, I'm not really surprised that Arashi's perspective on international stardom is what it is. After all, Japan's domestic music industry is a behemoth (I believe it recently overtook the US in terms of sales), and the domestic demand is more than enough to sustain them. It's somewhat disappointing for overseas fans, I suppose, but I like their humbleness towards their Japanese fans. And in some ways, like Jun mentioned, going overseas (to the US or Europe more than SE Asia, I guess), they can enjoy their private time without being spotted much. I wouldn't begrudge them that for anything.

Thanks again for sharing.

"Jun: But yeah, we hear a lot of requests to do concerts overseas, right?

Sho: That's right. Just like I said, it's only that our awareness isn't going to change, regardless which country or region we might visit, it doesn't mean we decided not to go. "

holding on to these words :) cause i'm pretty sure they do want to see their overseas fans too! ^_^

Thanks for translating.
In my opinion, Arashi is Japan national idol, that's maybe the reason they stay in the country. They finally realize that everything they do effected people in the country, so if it's also effected others in another country, they just take it as added bonus. but seemed for now, they want to stay put. *not that i'll complain anyway...
Thanks again... :)
