Another day, Another day of being stuck at court
Since D broke the CPO, they issued a warrant out for his arrest. I believed he turned himself in. Today was a pre-trial court appearance. The hearing started at 9am on the 15th floor. Oh the place you wait in until there is room in Hell. Just kidding, but it does feel like it. I was luckily only there for an hour this time. I turned in a copy of the restraining order so hopefully the ODJFS has everything to get me back on my foodstamps. I really need them ( Read more... ) -

Well I had a job interview today at Michael's. I'm hoping they like me so I can get a job. I should know more next week.

Another Day
The weather is in the 50s and it's raining. I do wish winter would come and stay. All this rain is making me blah! I'd so love some sun. On the bright side, I don't have to drive the kids to school in the snow...yet....And it is only the middle of January, I have at least 2 months of winter to get some more snow and sun ( Read more... ) -

Miami
Less then 24 hours and I'll be in sunny warm Miami!!! First real vacation I've had in about 12 years. Can hardly wait. Will get to meet Daniel's business partner and his partner Victor/Vickie and did I mention I'll be with Daniel? And no kids? Can't hardly wait!!!!!!

NaNoWriMo Write In/Kick Off
Went to one of the local NaNoWriMo kick off events. It was pretty much like I expected it would be. Spoke to some local participants. One did win last year and her book is going to be published June of '10. So that was cool. Found many like me, have done it for many years but haven't won/finished.
