Aw, that was so nice :) Arthur being frustrated and protective of Merlin all at once is the cutest thing ever. And yay for Arthur realizing that for Merlin, hiding his abilities is an instinctive reaction, not a matter of trust.

I'll be very much looking forward to the sequel, whenever you have the inspiration to write it!

Thank you! And yeah, in the fics where Arthur is all "zomg you have betrayed me by not telling me about your powers!!" I always tend to hope for Merlin to shake him and go "it was never about you, you egotistical prat!" Because it's not, really.

Wow. Just... wow. I think this might be my favorite "Arthur finds out" fic. Because I haven't read anybody going down this route where they, and Arthur, really THINK about what hiding means to Merlin about what DISCOVERY means to Merlin, and this view of his psyche is really powerful and wonderful. And it was great to see the streak of greatness in Arthur, sometimes I think that's underplayed in fics that aren't set in the future.

And now that I've said something meaningful.... SQUEE! *hugs fic* It's shiny and wonderful and I love it and you totally made my day better! :-D

djafjda this was SO GOOD. I really loved the narrative a lot, it was entertaining and just so Arthur. XD I would love to read more, I really love your writing!

He totally does. Being the best at swordfighting, macefighting, jousting, etc. is all well and good but there is something to be said for NINJAAAAAAdom. Alas for the fact that Camelot and Japan are not close together. At all.

Alas, Arthur is not so fond of cats after the traumatic experience alluded to in the fic. And I didn't expect Arthur to get *quite* so horrified by girl!Merlin although I have the suspicion that denial has something to do with that. If he read the various genderswap fic out there, he'd probably faint swoon collapse into unconsciousness in a totally manly manner and Merlin wouldn't let him forget it until his dying day.
