In a recent conversation with whom I still consider one of my best friends, the subject of High-School relationships were brought up. I want all of your opinions on this subject matter, and I'm not going to put up a new post until I have an huge amount of opinionated ideas put up as comments. Honestly I don't know if high school relationships are worth it. It really depends on the situation. One thing that I've learned this year is that you really shouldn't date someone that you can't see yourself possibly marrying. And if you meet someone in HS that you can see yourself marrying one day down the road, then I say go for it. But for me personally, when I look back on "relationships" I had in HS, I know (and I think I knew then too) that there is no way I could've married any of those guys. I really think I was just dating them for dating's sake and because I "liked" them. In fact the only relationship I've had where I could/can honestly see a serious future with a guy has been in college, not HS. If I could do it all over again, I personally don't think I would've dated in HS because I know now that I really was not mature enough to then. But that's just me. I read this book called "boy meets girl" by joshua harris this summer that you'd like... it talks about a lot of this stuff, and it's great. It was kind of a slap in ( ... )
