Check out FEMA's Donation Page. Number three on the list, Operation Blessing?? Operation Blessing is PAT ROBERTSON's charity. He, his wife and son are on the board. Yeah, that's right. FEMA is advocating giving Mr. Pro-Assassination money to help victims? Separation of church and state my ass. Disgusting.

Yeah, but in fairness to Pat Robertson (as much as it galls me to even potentially be seen as supporting him [and don't mistake me, that's not what I'm doing]), it's not like his is the only religious organization up there. The UJA, B'nai Brith, Adventist ... And people tend to forget that the Salvation Army is extremely religious, as well.

It's not just the fact that it's a religious organization, but the fact that Pat Robertson openly called for the assasination of Hugo Chavez. And knowing this, FEMA is still choosing to direct donations toward his charity. I'm sure he has good intentions with the Katrina efforts, but I don't think the government should be supporting this particular charity in light of his recent comments.
