The puppy was WAY too excited about going for a car ride, and ran into the back of my legs as we were leaving the house. My knee / ankle gave out and I fell down the steps and (most likely) broke my ankle. They were not 100% sure it was actually broken, because people my age aren't supposed to get compression fractures unless they're in car accidents. Compressoin fractures are usually seen in older people, and are usually a result of osteoperosis (sp?). But with multiple ankle surgeries and a history of spraining that ankle, I'm fairly confident it's broken :(
