There is nothing express about the Shoppers Express Lane. I think they put their slowest cashiers there just so that all the lanes are about the same size. I still don't know why all the check-writers and why all the old geezers who don't know how to use the credit card machine use this lane, though.

I ran a 10k race today, and it felt really, really good.

I can now say that I ran down, then up Capitol Hill.

Time: 1 hour 2 minutes.

On Tuesday I was walking in my office's lobby on my way to lunch, and I saw a guy in a business suit vomiting into the plants they have growing in there. Not just vomiting, but puking his guts out projectively. I haven't seen puke like that since being at IU ( Read more... )
