Help Wanted: Thanks

Which is better to sell used school books online, Half.com or Amazon.com (or any other wobsite you can recommend)? Has anyone actually had any success selling books with either of these? I have a stack of school books from the past two years that I've been needing to sell.

i have had minimal success. i've sold a few books on half.com. i used to do it when the school wouldn't buy my books back from me, i think i made a maximum of $40 on a book once. i bet you would have some success considering how it's that time to buy books again.

Cool thanks. I figured if I'm ever going to try to sell them, this (at the start of a semester/quarter) would be a good time of year to do it.

I like half.com. I do pretty well and it's super easy. Never tried Amazon, though. Good luck!

Hi Chelsea, how have you been?

But thanks, I was thinking half.com too because if I go to buy books online that's usually the first place I check. I suppose I could always just list them on both? I'm bad at this.

I've sold on ebay, half.com and amazon. I prefer half.com. Books from the last five years sell much faster than older books. And more obscure books sell there just fine.
