The media pressures SO MUCH to have sex that you think that if you are not hooking up/in a relationship/doing certain things, you must be a loser.

But your self-respect is MUCH more important than what others may think.

Finally they're starting to prove this through research... do you know any ways to stop to the coruption inhances by media? Or at least decrease it?? I know there's been petitions against it, but thus far no luck.

The way I see it, the ultra-conservative religious right seems to simply go for a close-lipped "just say no" policy that idolizes ignorance rather than education, and "just say no" rules without clear reasons (especially health concerns) seem to just not work very well on the majority of humans. If people were educated properly, bad media wouldn't have as much of an influence ( ... )
