all in a day's work
I am sitting in a room, watching teenagers make "robots," "cars," and other creative delights out of aluminium cans, trash, hardware bits and pieces and pure creativity. Oh, and we're listening to String Cheese Incident. They are loving it!
It's times like these that I love my job. :-) -

There is a man washing our windows at work right now. He's taken his shoes off so he can climb on the counters to reach the windows. His feet really stink.

I've been so grumpy, I just wanted to post a quicky on the good end of the spectrum. skiing!
I went to one of the REI freebie classes on cross country skiing...they showed us all the gear and talk about different styles: in track, backcountry, skate. WOW, I am so excited and want to try it! Packaging
Unrecyclable packaging makes me sad. I want to cut down on this as much as I can over the next year, and make such a strong habit of it that it becomes a lifetime choice. So, where is plastic packaging most predominant for me?
Breakfast cereal...I checked at the local stores and there aren't any bulk cereals (as in bring your own packaging) aside ( Read more... ) -
Foundation
This is the word I will try to use to guide me in the new year. There is a life I want, but can't quite reach right now, but if I work on building and strengthening the foundation, I will at least be moving in the right direction. maybe I'm too picky and stringent
I don't want old (37+), I don't want young (29-), I don't want too far away, and there doesn't seem to be anyone fun in town...maybe it'd be easier to find a guy if I judged them on themselves and not these arbitrary things. Saturday
I decree that it should not rain on weekends during the daylight hours! Because of work, my love of sleep, and daylight savings, this is my only outdoor play time.
