It's late and I'm tired (and I'm retaining more water than is comfortable) and I'm not 100% sure, but I think The Beast is complete. The first draft is anyway, although with all the rewriting and editing I did over the time I was blocked, I'd say half of it won't need as critical an eye. I can't relax just yet, but I'm really, truly in the home

What is your book about?

Dude, it's not a book/original story. It's still that damned fan fic that I've been working on for-fucking-ever. This is what my life is reduced to now, L: writing fan fic*. All because I am a hardcore, dyed in the wool, no holds barred, will ship it until I die (and then beyond the grave if I can) Tyler/Caroline shipper. I love those two kids so fucking much. In fact, they're the ONLY reason I'm still watching The Vampire Diaries. If either or both of them gets killed off I am DONE with that show.

*Although, holy shit, writing this fan fic has taught me a lot about story structure, continuity, and pacing. After I've edited it and proclaimed it properly finished, I'm going to tackle an original fic idea I've had brewing in my head for the last year and a half or so.
