Sometimes I really really miss san francisco, like when I get emails about queer open mic nights featuring michelle tea & beth lisick & tara jepsen & sister spit & everyone else who is awesome on the queer sf lit scene. But then I remember that I am here, and I am so happy.

I look at pictures and letters from a girl I used to love, and I wonder if I still do.

My new comforter has hearts on it. and my sheet set has butterflies. and they are prettyprettypretty & they make me smile.

Just thought I'd say that.

I graduated on Friday, and now it's SUMMER and life is good.

So I've seen four plays in the past 92 hours. Three of said plays were in the span of about 27 hours....I think that's a record, even for me. I got back last night from a crazy-fast trip to Ashland. It's almost June.

In 18 days I graduate.

In 19 days I go on a crazy-quick trip to Ashland to see Rabbit Hole and hang out with everyone.

In two months I'm up in Ashland again, for the Seminar.

In three months I leave for Smith.

I feel like I'm just waiting for everything to start.

My best friend Eliza is finding out tomorrow whether she got into Columbia, and we're all freaking out because it means so much to her and to all of us. I walked into a theatre on Pier 39 in San Francisco the other day, and was immediately offered a job working the show.

So on Monday night, I saw Julie Andrews speak at the Civic Center, and my life was fulfilled. I didn't think I'd be super-emotional about seeing her speak, but I was. In three hours and twenty minutes, I will be watching Julie Andrews speak. I will be in the same room as she. I will be in the presence of the woman whom I've adored since before I can remember.
