I listen to Dizzee Rascal, another London based rapper/performer, and I was reading an article on concert he was doing with Nas, and MIA and her album were mentioned. So I just got a copy and then it went down from there.

i listened to the new kanye today and was sadly disappointed by it. A few of the tracks were good, and obviously the singles are, but others just didn't fill my fancy at all. Particuarily "Drive Slow" which my hopes were set high for as I enjoyed Paul Wall's cameo on "still tippin" quite a bit.

Kanye's voice and flow never did much for me, but i've always admired his beats for Jay-Z, and frankly I'm hella surprised NAS is on this album considering Mr. Carter and his administration's beef with Nas and Mobb Deep.

Yeah, I was surprised Nas got on that track too, and also kind of relieved. Many of the other cameos didn't come through. At all [Especially Adam Levine and Brandy's cuts]. Just not good.
