I had an interview today and got another job.

I'm just that good.

I'll be a tutor a few days a week.

It's so cold that I'm afraid to leave my apartment for fear of freezing to death while waiting for a bus.

ARGH!  I had to trek it to Medill for a training but it was cancelled!  They claimed that they e-mailed everybody, but I didn't get it; the other kindergarten teacher didn't get it; the lady that walked in before me didn't get it; and the lady that walked in after me didn't get it.  It was enirely too cold to have to wait for a bus today.

It'll be an obscene amount of money to fix my car. Like a month's pay.

So I have no car. What's worse is that I have to keep paying for a car that I can't use.

Fuck.

I tried to PT it to work today and guess what? The Metra doesn't stop regularly at 103rd. I foudn that out when I was downtown at the station. There was no way I'd make it on time taking the red line and a bus so I called in. I woke up at 5:30am for nothing ( Read more... )

What's even funnier is that I've gotten tons of responses.

Last night, I finally saw my pals in the The Accountants of Homeland Security. It was a good show. I sat next to this guy Jason who kept saying, "That's you!" whenever my bit would pop up on the video.

Afterwards, it was too late to go to the Pontaic for karaoke so I bought a cabbage.
