first day of classes

Today was my first day at university. I only had one class, Calculus for Biology and Medicine. After getting the syllabus, the prof went directly into notes. I kind of remember this kind of math, the only problem is that what I remeber is that I did miserably at it in high school. Haha, wow. Looks as though you're like me, with virtually no free time! Though, for me it's just because I have to walk over to the mall, wait, and take the city bus home after school until my sister gets a car (and her license >.>).

It kinda sucks, but you learn to live with it. And find the highlights. =D For me, it's that I get to wait in the coffee shop for 45 minutes or so, drink coffee, and write. ^_^

Coffe shop writing sounds really fun, except that for me, there aren't any small "quiet" coffee shops to lounge in. Plus I don't drink coffee and stuff and I don't like the tea that commercial chains prepare, so I wouldn't be allowed to just sit around for hours between classes.

I have found some nice places around the campus that are quiet, but being outside in the cold doesn't really appeal to me so I'll wait 'till spring to make use of those places.
