Voice dialing

AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!

I am SICK of stupid voice recognition software!!! With the phone I had three years ago, if I wanted to be able to use voice dialing, I'd have to go to the contact listing, then record what I want to have to say in order to voice dial it, like, the first name.
