thinking about an offer of becoming a liscensed dog groomer. it would be an 18 month paid course, with me spending 2/3 of my time in portland. in three week stints. hmmmmm. sounds like a crazy busy schedule. i would get commissioned pay, that would be way more than the crap i make now. then the catch is to sign a 2 year contract to work at ( Read more... )

haha. i will spare the lifemeats....for now.
about the job, i feel it is something that i could enjoy, also the pay is a definete driving force as well. just the trips to portland with having my pets, and being in a band might be a stretch. oh yeah. and i dont know if i can do petco for two more years. heh. we'll see... have to get more of the details before i can decide for sure.

I think this sounds like a great opportunity for you! But I have worked at Petco.... as long as you stay in the grooming area... I don't think you will get mad. I got mad, because they dont take very good care of the animals.

yeah, our store is decent on our animal policy....however, some of the employees are not doing their jobs as they should. the satisfaction i get out of it is taking as much care as possible with the animals im in charge of. and then i take them home :@
