my parents came to italy on friday and loucia and i met them in rome for a really great weekend. we saw everything, and went everywhere, and of course did some shopping...ahh. we also saw cirque de soleil which was amazing. if you ever get the chance, go. i was in awe the entire 2 and a half hours. but it was really good to see our parents. they ( Read more... )

yeah man you won an award! they were all like "alex isn't here to recieve the award because she is attending school in italy due to a ruby injury and so on and so on."
and then i cheered and felt like a big ass, considering you weren't there and all hahaha :D

Hahahaha, oh my, alex, my first glimpse of you since forever has showed you showing off some excellent mediating skills! I was quite unaware you had LJ until I saw your comment on Julia's page and I must say I was QUITE dissapointed that I didn't figure that out sooner. AND THEN, the first entry I saw a Halloween one (I think...) mentioning that your parents were coming to visit, and suddenly wonderful ideas of care packages popped into my brain only to be crushed when I realized they'd already been. Anyhow, I'm on my knees thanking you for the most BRILLIANT care package this summer at camp-it was ravishing! (and grovelling for failing you) And I am quite aware that I am indebted to you! Any chance you come home for the holidays?! Didn't think so.... but it sounds like we may end up at McGill together next fall.
Sorry my writing skills have been such a dissapointment.

appology accepted. i am fully aware of the intensity of camp resulting in many broken promises of sending letters. but fortunatley i am coming home...for good/christmas. i thought you might be the mysterious "genevieve" who continually posted intellignet hayley-type remarks on julia's lj. i've been trying/ not really doing anything to attempt to get a hold of you. i want to know how your summer/life was/is. my email is splingz@hotmail.com. i'll be expecting a detailed summary/essay asap. p.s. you're welcome for the care pakage, though i can't remeber what made it so brilliant...other than the environmental awareness sticker of some kind that made me laugh. ha. see you later alligator. p.p.s. italy is beautiful by itself!
