Someone give me a reason to 'smile sweetly'

Been doing a bit of rollerblading recently. Had forgotten how good it feels to be zooming along the bike path, with the smell of the ocean, and the wind blowing through your hair. Went quite frequently during junior high.....and there was a period after high school where rollerhockey was the 'thing' to do....but other than that...nothing really ( Read more... )

There will be no river rafting trip this year. How sad. Was looking forward to it. I guess we should plan another trip now...hmmm…what are our options?

Well…here I am, at work…enjoying a cup of soup from the UCLA Hospital Cafeteria. My new job is working out pretty well. Higher pay, higher status, fancier work environment…all for a less stress job. Just returned from a lovely camping trip to Leo Carrillo. All the cousins, sisters, and neighbors.

The beach was breathtaking…and awe-inspiring.
