Oh! Forgot to mention that at the Panera where we work we have a top bake number of about 3400. With this new stuff we will AT LEAST add 500 dollars to that number. 3900 bake? Yes, it is very hard to do this though not impossible. It just means that in an 8 hour night you don't get to sit down at all, and it is five days in a row of grueling work.
You need a better job. I don't know what to tell you.
Start watching the Louisville public libraries like a hawk for library assistant positions. You might still be on your feet pretty much all shift, but its more gratifying and less PANIC TO GET DONE sort of work. Also, being surrounded by books is delightfully soothing.
I would love to work for a library, especially after the one downtown got screwed by the flash flood a week ago, but nothing is available right now. I'll keep looking though. :D
Btw, you set a date 2 weeks from now where I can request off and there will be much fun had.
I'm glad I'm not crazy. But listen to this: I forgot to add that I get about 41.25 hours per week, which adds up to about 82 to 83 hours per pay period. They are yelling at me and putting me at "slower" stores and thinking about cutting me to 4 days because of a SMIDGE of OT. The baguettes themselves are supposed to take about 1.5 hours extra. I don't get it.
