If you know anyone who's hiring and pays at least $9.50/hr, I need a new job yesterday. I've been told they're not going to stop shorting my paycheck and they're going 50/50 insurance instead of 30/70 at the end of the year. And probably dropping pay rates. Our asshole new landlord wouldn't respond to our landlady-to-be's background check calls. We lit a fire under his ass today by threatening legal action. E just sent me a text saying she's emailing us the lease.
It has a sizable back yard, BTW. We have plans for that backyard. -

Roommate B, E and I have been watching Darker Than Black recently. The premise is anime ridiculous weirdshit, but surprisingly well thought out, internally consistent, and well developed. If you don't read Dr. McNinja, you really should. The first few chapters are kind of hard to get through because its just absurdism, but the humor matures into a sort of absurdism with context (I guess the comic is sort of magical realism? which I normally don't care for), and they've made two jokes so far that have just killed me: Ben Franklin ( Read more... ) -
