Title: The Sum of Their Parts.

Summary: Angsty future hints and triangular shenanigans as Gwen feels doom upon her on the ride back from Hengist's.

poor gwen. i always feel like when/if the triangle happens, she's going to get caught up in it before she even realises what's happened.

This was incredible! I think it will take another read to really absorb it all, but it was insightful and fastpaced and so incredibly poetic - especially the line about Arthur riding like a ghost through the trees, and the last few paragraphs about life imitating art.
Amazing. :)

Gwen had felt again, rather than knew, that this was the moment in the play when Helen first meets Paris or Cassandra has made an ignored prophecy - and nothing would be the same again.

Gwen knows but she doesn't know. I love it.

gwen's feelings towards lance and arthur are difficult to decipher, which is a deliberate move, i think, by the writers and angel's acting to place more tension in the love triangle. i have no idea who she cares for more.
