Why, oh why, do people think that it is okay to have a 2 full page job description for a 20hr/wk job?

Hmm, let's see.  Friday I had an interview for a position with LifeLink.  I think the interview went well, but who knows about these things.  We'll see what happens.  The pay would be better than I get now (not that that is hard to accomplish) and a sweet set up benefits (like !2% towards 401K and 100% of family insurance...that alone would save us ( Read more... )

This weekend we are in Nashville for a work conference.  The weather is quite yucky, ruining many plans.

Oh well, at least we have cable (which we don't have at home!).

Howdy friends, it's been a while.

Life has been crazy busy.  I'm still looking for a new job, but it's not exciting and is frankly a little scary.  We really can't afford for me not to work.  Aside from that crazy, stressful component of life things are okay.

New job.  Officially.

Last week I was notified that my job was being cut in half.  Technically the pay they are offering is a little higher per hour than what I make now, but nowhere near enough.  So, I'm on the job hunt.  I have to find something by June 1st, wish me luck.

Kevin's mom bought Miriam a little outfit and wanted pictures of it before she outgrew it (it's not really seasonally appropriate, so he hasn't worn it...and it's too dressy).  We went to my mom's this weekend and she took some pictures this afternoon.

Today we went to the doctor and Miriam now weighs 6lbs.  The munchkin has doubled in weight since birth!
