I survived.  Only got spit up on every 2 hours or so.

Tomorrow is Kevin's first day back and work and I am home alone with Miriam.  I am scared - wish me luck!

Today has been the most wonderful day of my life.  Miriam Claire, my most wonderful daughter, is here in our home office in the arms of my most wonderful husband.  Who could ask for a better evening?

Yesterday Miriam moved to an open air crib.  Woohoo!  She has been in it for about 18 hours I think and is holding her body temp really well.  I was thinking maybe another week in the nursery, but I'll be surprised if she even stays through the weekend.  Yikes, now I'm starting to have normal mommy panic!

Okay, I'm trying not to overload my LJ with too much baby stuff, but I think she's just the cutest awesomest bestest baby ever.  So, here we go...

Really and truly, she is.

Lucky has a habit when about twice a year she starts to lick one of her back paws.  And lick, and lick, and lick.  To the point that the skin breaks and it becomes raw.  And she keeps licking.  She cries while she licks it because it hurts her so bad, but she wants stop doing it unless she yell her name very aggressively ( ( Read more... )

My baby girls is just 1/2 and ounce shy of 4lbs!  This is big stuff, she should be able to start holding her body temp soon.
