I was driving to the auto supply store with Kira to buy a headlight for her car when I got pulled over by the cops. He thought I ran a red light... I thought it was yellow... Yesterday I was getting ready to shave. I'd let my beard grow for a few days over thanksgiving so it was longer then i ever let it get. I was looking at the hair on my chin. It was all gray. We got back home last late night. I've never been so happy to get back to Detroit. I usually don't like coming home from trips. I really don't like florida... Or at least Orlando. I'm sitting in the lobby of the hotel Kira and I are staying at in Orlando. They have free wireless internet in the lobby. I'm so bored... We got here Friday night for a conference this weekend. Kira and I are going to the Magic Stick to see The Notwist and Themselves performing as 13 & God. Anyone interested in coming? Tickets are like $15 at the door... Should be fun... 13 & God put out one of the best albums I've heard in a long time. Best record of the year in my opinion.

Today at work I met an 85 year old man who was an infantry sargent in The Big Red 1 (1st inrantry division, Army). He was there June 6th 1944 when the alied armies landed on the beaches of Normandy. I told him what an honor it was to meet him and asked to shake his hand. And I gave him a haircut...

We're heading back home today. It's always sad to leave this place.
