Yeah, I'm alive. I'm actually working on part of my drawing final right now, as goes my endless cycle of homework. Anyway, since I NEED to procrastinate from that (WAY SCARY), I'm here. Because I still love you guys, even if you don't remember who the fuck I am by now. Also I wanted to show you guys some stuff that I've been doing. Just so you know

Yay, you're not dead! So how does living feels like again?? Which reminds me, I did finally see Shaun of the Dead (and I swear you had largely to do with it, since you have quite a fine taste). I shouldn't have judged the trailer like I did...it turned out to be really good. It's clever. I'm really glad that I didn't pass it on.

I had no idea you were taking so many art classes! Your oil paintings are really good. And my fav is the Egon Schiele portrait. What part of the Met was this body of work at? I really like the anatomy drawing too...wish you would go further with it. And yes, I like those headphones in your self-portrait as well...along with that bit of hair - it balances out the headphones.

I know college is hard. And you must be really focuses...cause you're never on LJ anymore! Dude, I'm on LJ...and I'm in college...and um, what does say about me?? Dude, I need to spread more of my procrastination disease to you.

See, I go to this fake school, called art school, where they take everything creative you ever did for fun and make you do it for HOMEWORK and so it becomes absolutely NOT FUN. It's swell. And I never sleep, either! Oh yay, the joys of being a machine

Man, your studio art classes sound scaaaaary. I see kids like you working in those brightly lit rooms whenever I pass by...like around 1AM.

I would go home as soon as my classes are over. I would not stay in school any longer than I have to. I'm usually dead after finals, and school is not the place for me to recuperate.

This semester is my worst. And there's nothing to be curious about, honestly. You're in one now, so you know how it's like. It's just a shitload of work that never seems to end. Yeah, my photography class is what really made it hell this semester. Normally, it's already shitty with my research, getting-harder science classes, and my job...and now with photography added on top of it...I don't even see daylight anymore (except when I leave for school). Then next thing you know, when I get out of school...holy shit it's dark. There you have it.

I have 2 courses in basically... conceptual wank. Thankfully my studio class teachers are not about that, whereas a lot of the other people I know who take painting and other classes have teachers like that. As in, they learn no technique and it's all concept. I don't think the location of the school has anything to do with it. I am happy that my classes are the way they are pretty much, my worst class is my "Elements of Visual Thinking" class, which is the big concept bs one. Yeah- that's why I'm worried about this continued path of graphic design, I mean, I love design and respond to it, but I am usually not well slept enough or have enough time to really devote any high thinking to ANYTHING. I'll see after this next semester I guess if I want to do it still or not.

Thank you! I dunno about using the oils properly, because I detest them and the fact that they get EVERYWHERE, but thanks. ;)

I am envious of anyone productive. There are kids here who just poop creativity. Hate them all. ;P
