I'll be starting up the 166th volume of my hardcopy journal soon, having finished the last one yesterday.

It's a bit of a scrapbook, as well as a journal. Kind of a hobby over the past 35 years or so.

Back to work tomorrow.

Also, took down the Christmas tree and decorations today. Stressful as it involved going up in the attic and hunting for specific boxes that Linda wanted to use. Put stuff in the specific boxes... Tape up the boxes... Put the boxes back up in the attic to be searched for next Christmas.

Sadly, my cousin Kim called to let us know my Aunt Susan in Washington has passed away. She also needed my Dad's number in Arizona.

Sad to hear the news, but she's been unwell for a while... and Uncle Bob passed a few years ago.

Rosie came back in thru the flap.... she got hungry.

I suppose she's ready to be let out, but we'd rather keep an eye on her

I'm enjoying the days off from work. My employer gave everyone today and tomorrow off extra, so that's nice.... Will be back on Monday, and that's a good feeling to have those extra few days.

Jenny will be 40 years old tomorrow and we're planning a dinner out.

I'm going to be 60 years old later this month.

I wanted to write a few things about Jimmy Carter.... A few days ago, when he died, I posted a short message, but didn't really do the news justice.

Rosie is doing great. Still spending her time in the crate or on our laps...

But today she pulled a fast one (again) and slipped out the flap. We were actually debating whether to let her out anyway.... but we're planning just to wait until Spring....
