Sour Patch Kids: an instructive tale

Miss Weasley, I am heartened to hear that you are finding your enterprise to be an alternative to evil, but this does not constitute a reason to give your brothers unprecedented access to the Hogwarts market. I am also very glad to hear that you and your brothers plan to devote your minds and efforts in Order to better Britain, but if you would ( Read more... )

That's, um, quite a tale. I wish we'd had talking rabbits about instead of gnomes.

Professor, we're not about to swarm over Hogwarts and suck it dry. Plenty of people (mostly Slytherins) will refuse to buy from us just because we're "blood traitors" or they don't like "carrot tops." I really don't think we pose a threat to the school because, well, I rather think I know myself and my brothers well enough to say what our intentions are, or at least mine, and I'm sorry I can't seem to prove them to you. And that high level of selling would really be difficult for me to achieve during my NEWT years when I actually care about how well I do. Ultimately, it really is the NEWTs that are more important than how much I sell, so I'm not going to even attempt to bombarde the school like that ( ... )

As I just said, I go away for a few months and when I return, I have no clue as to what is going on.

Am I in the right school? Am I in the right dimension? I feel as though I am in the wrong place entirely. Has Corner been fidling with the universe with his machines again?

I must need sleep. Then when I awaken, possibly the universe will have righted itself.

The answers to your questions, Mister Zabini, are: "Yes", "As far as I know, but it is notoriously hard to tell about these things", "It is, of course, possible; I do not, after all, track what each student is doing every moment of the day", respectively. Though I confess, there were times even I wondered whether I had accidentally used the wrong bag for the mushroom and corned beef sandwich I had prepared that day, Hoppity was such a character.
