This is incredible! I think Bucky's sickliness definitely comes across--and I've never even seen the films, much less read the fic! The seam of his metal sleeve around his shoulder socket is brilliantly articulated! It looks sort of pinched and soldered and painful, but like he's just used to it since it's scared. It makes the image have hurt & comfort all in one! He's clearly relishing the chance to touch and kiss Steve.

My other FAVORITE parts are BUCKY'S HAIR! It's glorious!! I want it! It's the first thing I noticed and is probably its own kink for me. For comparison I looked at Steve's hair, and that's pretty effin' great, too. ;) Also, I love the big vein on Steve's forearm.

God I wish you would, I wanna flail and screamail you about Bucky.
This story is pretty intense, the way Bucky's past is explored is both incredibly painful and heartrending as well as somehow not being over the top drama. I think it's because this Bucky in this story isn't dramatic about it. It happened. He's so matter of fact about it all, there's no tiptoeing around the trauma because he won't. UGH I LOVE THIS FUCKING STORY.

And I adore drawing hair and occassionally getting it right, so thanks for that!!
