UNGH *sniff* SQUEEEEE-WAAAAAAAA *not-so-quietly continues OTP-ing you & your pastels*

This is more than a bit lovely, and though I find it hard to be coherent or objective, given the specific subject matter, I will just say ARMMMMMMMPIT!!!! *wibbles* and OMFG I'm so impressed with the way you used pastels to portray both all the soft organic textures of skin and hair and then the FUCKING WINTER SOLDIER ARM. Like, I've stared at this a lot here and on tumblr and it still makes me shake my head and grin like a fool that you've achieved this with a single medium and consistent shading/light source as the skin bits and yet I don't doubt for one fucking second that that thing is actual metal and just, as I recall all the pastel-rendered metal objects of my youth turned out looking like burlap sacks or clay models so I say WELL FUCKING DONE.

I think I'm having a love affair with my pastels, like, I think we're a thing. It was only gonna be a suck-it-and-see thing but we're dating regularly now, and there's a mutual respect there, you know?

(Seriously though, I don't know what I'm doing with that. I've never really practiced metal. Or colour. Or pastels. This is all just sort of happening in between cups of tea, I don't even know.)
