I'm pretty sure he said don't read to deep into it because, well, 1) it's absurd intentionaly and 2) it's a bloody comic. It's SUPPOSED to be absurd. Sure, the cartoonist is expressing his views rather boldly in his comic, but he's entitled to that opinion, right? I mean, look at ANY political cartoon and tell me it "twists the real world arround" less than this one does. They're designed to raise issues of conflict, and are always biased. This comic is no different.

I'm going to assume this is in regards to a Chistianity Vs. Non-Christans debate? If so, I'd say drop the whole thing entirely, both of you. You simply won't agree if you're on opposite ends here. It's not going to happen, and arguing won't accomplish anything. Then again, I'm sticking my nose in where I don't belong and probably shouldn't be saying anything, but hey I did. Guess I suck.

The problem is that Im decently certain you don't agree personally with the tenants of islam that would lead one of the penitent to cut off the hand of a thief, to deny a woman equal rights, to throw a firstborn girl into the well, or to low yourself up in the name of martyrdom. on the other hand I personally belive that Intelligent design is just as viable for the origin of life, the origin of the universe and the origin of mankind as the current theories of science which is a charmed chaos. I also believe that if a woman has the right to choose to end a pregnancy, a pharmascist or a doctor has the right to refuse to assist her in bloodying her hands. thirdly I don't believe in starving a woman to death, if she's going to be removed from life support at least give herte same comfort you would give a dog. and finally I beleive that Our Beliefs were actually here first and its the secularist comunity thats forcing its belifes on our society ( ... )
