I started a new journal under the name navy_wife_1390.

Al left for Florida at 5:30 this morning. I already miss him a lot. When I woke up and remembered that he was gone, I started crying. I know that I'll see him in 2 1/2 weeks, but it still sucks so much to be away from him. It's so quiet and lonely without him.

This week's been incredibly crazy, but the wedding planning is finally wrapping up. We booked a photographer and dj this week, which were the last major things on the list. This summer has been crazy. I just finished summer courses a couple weeks ago, and this weekend I moved into my new apartment. Right now, Al is living with me until July 28, when he has to move down to Florida. After that, it will be just me and Maverick living together. Last night I told my parents of my engagement. I finally had everyone all together and we went out to eat at Ruby Tuesday's, and after we ordered, I told them I had something to tell them. I just said goodbye to Al as he left on the long 16-hr drive back to Nevada for Christmas. I always get so anxious whenver he makes these long drives. I know he's done it more than half a dozen times, but I still worry about him. I'll be praying constantly until he calls me and tells me he's safely home.
