one week after starting work...
Started working at the Census Bureau local office on Monday. Managed to skip the phone bank and go to data entry, which I liked. Did that Tuesday, then on Wednesday I heard that the supply room clerk was getting relieved because the big shots from Denver did not like his attitude. Went to CA last week, to visit relatives, and was hoped, a friend. That hope did not pan out, due to his being sick, but, there will be other chances. Well, the move is just about over. Most unpacking has been done. Still have the storage unit, but that will be tomorrow. One trip with a trailer, half an hour or so there, half that here, and then, we have to find space for all MY stuff ( Read more... ) -
Coast to Coast
After over a decade of trying, I finally managed to call in to Art Bell's Coast to Coast AM's prediction show. I got in JUST before the end of the show. My prediction this year is: in 2009, the rain gauge here in Phoenix will record 0.8 inches of rain in one day AT LEAST five times.
