Can't get more womanly than Sex on the Beach. I suppose any drink that comes with an umbrella and a fruit slice is acceptable, though. Bonus points for syrup swirled in the cup, whipped cream, and a crazy straw.

It's probably very obvious that you should drink an appletini while wearing mascara.

Also I just checked out an Applebees' menu, and they have various martinis ranging from "playful" to "sophisticated". Ask the waitress for something in the neighborhood of playful and sugary and you can't really go wrong.

Sadly an actual Applebee's is out of the question. I'm gonna have to go to a silly Canadian analog like Caribou Creek or Eastside Mario's.

God, Eastside Mario's is so great. The menu items have vaguely New York themed names, and there's a big fiberglass Statue of Liberty in the middle of the place.
