more shits and fucks than i think i've ever heard you say in person. never knew kenneth bruce patton's middle name was bruce. never met a real bruce before.

dr. bruce grant, professor of anthropology, devastatingly dreamy (and canadian!), and object of my raging schoolgirl crush. you know, he's been to russian table a few times.
and hey, alex, congratulations on the first post in over a month... it had been too long.

oh, right right. i forgot about him--i once had a discussion with him about paris hilton in russian, but that was about it. somehow, i always expect bruces to be more muscular--like ken...what...no.
yes, saw bruce grant's picture, thought, he can't teach here. in person, he was a bit grayer than i expected, and a bit smaller, but as professors go, quite cute, though leaving us. i remembered in SCW last year everyone was talking about how he and that french prof were definitely a couple, and how cute they were, etc, etc.
Upon reflection, I've decided that it's the dog part. People who don't like dogs are untrustworthy. Also, people who make fun of poor innocent bio majors (except chem majors, who have a license to do so) are...um...untrustworthy.
Believe me, if you'd listened to these bio people studying for two hours (not majors, I do hope), you'd agree that any mockery towards them was well-deserved. And as for the dog thing? If Bruce can fix my computer, maybe he can change my mind on that issue too. Who knows? Hope you're having a nice trip and are enjoying this rare opportunity to actual shun me :)
So I don't read lj during the school year, but I realized somebody had to defend Ken even if the remarks were made in jest. First of all, he was actually the dorm tech for Worth, not PPR. And second, he was only the public area consultant (printer/paper refiller person) for the fall semester. So if this note you mention was written in the spring (and since the lj was posted in April, I assume so), the person in charge was a girl on the second floor of Roberts (her name escapes me). So there was really no reason to shun Ken at all.
And just for a side note, Kenneth Bruce Patton smells nice- especially last year when he wore Candy cologne. mmm.
Thanks for the correction, Maki. This was brought to my attention after I made the post, and I would've corrected it sooner... except that all the slander against Ken was actually a devious ploy on my part to get him to read LiveJournal. Y'know, I hoped if he'd heard I was spreading insidious lies about him in my journal, he'd be inclined to check in with a rebuttal. But I don't think he noticed, alas. (Oh, and for the record, I've found Ken to be quite pleasant-smelling as well. Not that I've thoroughly investigated the matter, or anything)
