My bedroom and bathroom are as clean as I am able to get them. It is kind of nice not living in filth. I believe I may continue not living in filth! Perhaps I should also clean out my vehicle as it's starting to get fairly ridiculous again

What tablet did you order? You'll find with a lot of the cheaper ones they'll say they have 1024xblah blah pressure points but feel unresponsive. So don't feel put off by it if that's the case, they are still excellent for hobbist use. Though if you went for a Wacom of any kind, it'll be sure to be good. I'd say any tablet over $70 dollars would be tip top.

I didn't mean that to come out like it was, I only really wanted to know what model tablet you went for.

Definitely not top of the line by any means, but I figure it'll serve for a beginner. I didn't want to be stuck with an expensive tablet that I'd never use, so I figured I'd try out a cheaper one first. If I can actually create something acceptable with it, I'll definitely consider upgrading.
